A message from our Senior Pastor

Welcome to Eastgate. We are a diverse church, knowing that God the Father loves all people so we’re living with confidence that Jesus can transform anyone. Faith in Jesus is radically changing our lives, our families and our communities. Come along to one of our services, join a mid-week group, and know the power of God’s Spirit as we honour Him together. We’re from all kinds of places and backgrounds. We’re not perfect; we don’t expect you to be, everyone is welcome here.

Our Vision

Eastgate is called to glorify God as a lighthouse church—every person, and all of us together—being transformed in relationship with Jesus, impacting our local neighbourhoods and beyond.

Sunday service at 10am

Since 2017, we have been gathering each week at the local Rugby Club on Mahi Road. People of all ages and backgrounds come together for worship and teaching. Our kids programme welcomes ages 11 and under.

The service lasts about an hour fifteen, with plenty of time afterwards to meet new people over a hot cup of coffee or tea. We are an open and welcoming church, you’ll find real people sharing real stories of how faith intersects with all aspects of life.

Join us this Sunday as we worship, learn, and build community together in Te Kauwhata.

All are welcome.
