Team Eastgate

Volunteer in an area of Eastgate to grow yourself, grow the community and express gratitude to our creator and saviour.

We have opportunities to serve during a Sunday service, throughout the week, in our worship teams, creative teams and weekly ministries. There is always a place for one more person to serve in our church and we’d love to help you find the right fit. Whether you have a particular area of serving in mind, or whether you’d like to volunteer your specific set of skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Serving on Sundays

We intentionally create engaging and inspiring corporate gatherings that make room for people to connect with God, so much so that people leave changed, challenged and longing for more. Join the team, there are so many ways you can get involved on Sundays.

Opportunities include greeting people on host and welcome teams, assisting in the auditorium on the ushering team, directing traffic with the car park team, baking or waitressing in at our Connections Café, or expressing yourself through music, the creative and technical arts.

Other Opportunities

We are relentlessly stirred by God’s love to reach out to our community in every possible way. You have been uniquely created with purpose to be a blessing to others, we have confidence that you will find a place to serve on one of our teams.

Currently we have a number of specific opportunities available include volunteering in the Op Shop, delivering flyers with our Cascade Postie Team, video camera operators, Bible In School teachers, leaders for our kids and youth, filming and editing, photography, catering for functions, building props and stage sets.
