The world can feel so vast, and we, so small. This Christmas, we’re reflecting on the God who not only created the entire universe but also stepped into it. He could have torn the heavens apart and revealed the full force of His glory in terrifying splendour. He could have dried up the seas and flattened the mountains. He could have shattered the earth with His power.

Yet, to make Himself known, He came among us as one of us. A child, born in the back end of beyond, on the edge of irrelevance, at the fringe of scandal and disgrace. The God who made everything becomes the child who means everything.

God who is so vast entered the world in one so small: frail, fragile, an infant. The wonder of it refreshes us, leaving us undone and renewing our hope each year.

Join us this Christmas as we look again at the miracle: the Creator of the universe, with a cry that could barely fill a room, comes to us to save the whole world.
